:bulletblue:Personality:
Fleetstar is known as calm, confident, and a force to be reckoned with. He puts his clan first in all things. Calm most of the time, Fleetstar does not often snap at a clanmate unless his patience is pressed. Fleetstar is very stern and strict with the clan's kits and young apprentices, probably because he doesn't want a repeat of his negative experiences as a kit and apprentice to be shared with his clans younger cats. Fleetstar's not afraid to confront a situation and take it head on. Challenging Fleetstar's choices, especially those on how he runs his clan, is the fasted way to get on his bad side. It is no secret that Fleetstar distrusts other clan cats. He can get into disagreements frequently with other clan cats, and will not stand for any of their squirrely chatter.

:bulletblue:History:

[The Wayward Mother]
Fleetstar's eventual mother, Blossomstep, was always a bit flighty and not the sharpest claw in the paw. She focused more on day dreaming than her actual warrior duties. She was a bit clumsy, not the best hunter, and was slow to catch on to fighting moves. Many clanmates had to wonder how she managed to become a warrior in the first place when she clearly wasn't ready. If poor Blossomstep had anything going for her, it was her beauty. She had caught the eye of many of the clan's toms, but if Blossomstep noticed their interest she gave no sign. Perhaps because she knew that most of the toms that seemed interested in her were also the same toms who whispered about her when they thought she couldn't hear. Nevertheless, Blossomstep continued to dream of her perfect tom. And soon she knew she had found him. Out with her littermate on a hunting patrol near the meadow's twoleg place, Blossomstep caught sight of what she thought had to be the most handsome tom she had ever laid eyes on. Sitting on a fence before her was a silver hued, spotted tabby tom. He was well groomed, sleek, with striking green eyes. He said nothing as he sat staring at her. She felt as if she couldn't breath let alone speak when he greeted her, dipping his head and intoducing himself as Anubis. Tallthorn, Blossomstep's sister, coming across the scene threatened the tom about crossing into their clan's territory afterward she all but dragged Blossomstep back to camp. All that night Blossomstep thought about Anubis, she couldn't get the image of him out of her mind. She knew he was her perfect tom. But a small pang of worry also filled her mind, he had been wearing a kittypet collar.

Secretly, Blossomstep kept returning to the meadow's edge to wander the twoleg place in seach of Anubis. She always found him easily enough and they seemed to strike up conversations easily too. As the days went by she found it easier and easier to lie to her clanmates about where she was going. And everyday she felt more and more certain that Anubis was her destined mate. He was handsome, intelligent, friendly, and he didn't seem to mind her clumsyness or quirks. Blossomstep began dropping hints about how she wanted kits and a family into their conversations. After all that's what cats in love do right? Have kits. When she realized she was pregnant she was over joyed. When she went to meet Anubis, as she usually did, she couldn't hide her excitement. When she told him about their kits, he would leave his twolegs and come back to the clan with her, and together they'd raise their kits, she was sure of it. But little did Blossomstep realize their love had always been one sided. When she told him of her pregnancy, he seemed pleased but largely uninterested. When she suggested that he leave his twolegs to live with her and help raise their kits, he regaurded her with annoyance. He didn't love her, he never had. To him they were just friends. He fathered kits with her because she asked him to. Not because he cared for her, and he had no intentions of leaving his carefree, comfortable life with his twolegs to live in the woods like some fithly stray. He then suggested that she never come back.

Blossomstep was heart broken. Her dreams of a perfect life with the perfect tom was shattered. As she made her way home her thoughts where realing. What was she going to do now? Her belly wasn't going to stay small forever and when her clanmates asked who fathered her kits what was she going to tell them? Fearing what would happen not only to herself but her kits if the truth was found out she quickly became mates with one of the clans older toms, Silentbite. He was a few years her senior but he was kind, dedicated, and well respected. And as a bonus he was also a spotted tabby. When Blossomstep birthed her litter, it was no question to the clan or Silentbite that the kits were his.

[Birth of a Fast Star]
Fleetkit was born in the early morning hours of greenleaf. He was the first and fastest of his litter to be born. Fleetkit and his siblings were born at the perfect time, in the height of greenleaf when there was plenty of prey. For the first few weeks of his life it seemed Fleetkit was the first in everything. He opened his eyes first, started walking first, and was running around the nursery when his siblings had barely mastered walking. His mother named him Fleetkit for his speed. Fleetkit and his siblings grew in the nursery happy and healthy without much fuss. Fleetkit developed into a confident, sometimes cocky, kit and was often the leader in the games he and his siblings played. But it was during one of these games when one of their litter would be lost. Lead out of the nursery by some older kits, Molekit and Toadkit, Fleetkit and his littermates left the camp area to explored the clan territory. Having been lead to the grassy foothills without any problems Fleetkit and his littermates began to play a game of tussle with the two older kits in the grass. But with an ear splitting screech and a swoop of a shadow, Skykit was gone, taken by a hawk. Dashing back to the nursery as fast as their little legs could carry them, Fleetkit and his siblings were oblivious to the ill fate that had befallen their sister. When her absents was noticed, the adults went in search of her. They eventually gave up looking for her, believing that she left the nursery and was taken by a predator. Fleetkit and his littermates, having been threatened by the older, bigger kits, said nothing about where they and their sister had been or who had lead them their. The rest of Fleetkit's days in the nursery were quite and without much play. His siblings seemed to get over Skypaw's death rather quickly. For Fleetkit it took longer. Skypaw was one of his siblings he was most bonded to. And losing her was a hard blow for him. It wasn't until a talk with his father, Silentbite, about how sad his sister must be in Starclan seeing Fleetkit the way he was, did Fleetkit try his best to get on without his sister.

[Paw over Paw]
Like all kits, Fleetkit was excited as any the night of his apprentice ceremony. Fur well groomed and eyes gleaming he and his siblings could hardley contain themselves next to his mother and father. Fleetkit all but squealed for joy when Timberstar made Stormstrike his mentor. The same tom that had mentored his father, Silentbite. Being an apprentice to Stormstrike was a wonder for Fleetpaw. The old tom may have been headed to the elders den soon but that didn't mean he had any lack of knowledge to give. He taught Fleetpaw everything he knew, hunting, fighting, and even skills he learned through experiences from his long life, like how to climb trees or catch fish, even though Breezeclan specialized in rabbits and other meadow prey. Stormstrike always taught him that all skills are important to learn, for it may be needed later on even if it seems like a skill the clan can do without. Fleetpaw trained hard, striving to be the best hunter, and the greatest fighter. A cat his clanmates could always depend on. Under Stormstrike's guidence Fleetpaw was molded into an impressive young tom.

One day, nearing the end of his apprenticeship, Fleetpaw was sent out to hunt with his sister, Silvertail. As they hunted Fleetpaw heard what sounded like a group of cats talking down wind. Thinking it was a patrol group Fleetpaw went off towards the talking cats to offer his help. As he came closer it was obvious that it wasn't a patrol. It was his brother, Nosepaw, and the newly made warriors, Moletooth, and Toadfoot. Fleetpaw immediately felt unease. The last time any of his litermates had been around Moletooth or Toadfoot was when the two toms had lead them out of camp and into the hills, which had resulted in the death of Skypaw. Making a move to get in closer Fleetpaw could hear the three toms conversation. Moletooth and Toadfoot were trying to persuade his brother to go into a large hole dug into the ground a few feet away. Being down wind from the group Fleetpaw could smell the scents flowing from the den. It was a badger den, an active one. Rushing to the cats Fleetpaw let out a yowl of warning, but it was to late. Almost as soon as Fleepaw's feet hit the ground at the top of his run the badger who occupied the den had crashed it's way out, his brother froze in surprise and the badger sank it's teeth into his neck. Fleetpaw attacked the badger as Moletooth and Toadfoot raced off. Fleetpaw met the badger head on. Using his speed to dodged and leap out of the way of the badger's claws and snapping teeth, aiming clawed attacks on the badgers eyes and nose. Soon Fleetpaw was becoming exhausted and wasn't sure how long he could keep up his pace of dodge and slash. Guided by the sounds of a fight Fleetpaw's sister, Silvertail, as well as Timberstar lead a group of warriors into the battle. Out numbered and each cat placing well hit slashes at the badger, it finally retreated with Timberstar and a group of warriors hard on it's heels to drive home the message. Fleetpaw was left exhausted and bleeding from his leg and side. In the dirt a few tail lengths away was Nosepaw ominously still with dulled eyes. It was obvious to Fleetpaw that his brother was not getting up again, his fight with the badger had been in vain. Limping from the fight Fleetpaw helped his sister carry Nosepaw's body back to camp, where his wailing mother and clanmates moarned over his body. Glaring at Moletooth and Toadfoot, who were hanging back from the group, it took all of Fleetpaw's self control not to rush over and sink his claws and teeth into their flesh until they were as motionless as his brother. This was the second time the two toms had taken a littermate from him. The way Fleetpaw saw it, Moletooth and Toadfoot were not his clanmates but traitors. A poison in his clan that had taken two young cats already. Fleetpaw would not let them get away with another death again.

[Way of a Warrior]
Fleetpaw recieved his warrior name only two sunrises after his brothers death. Timberstar had given him the name, Fleetfoot. Named for his speed and footing. A day that should have been joyous made Fleetfoot feel hollow. He felt he shouldn't have recieved his name because of the fight in which he lost his brother. But he tried to seem happy and purr in response to his clanmates praises. His duty now done, Stormstrike congradulated Fleetfoot as his best apprentice, before heading to the elder's den to live out his remaining days. As the days flew by after his warrior ceremony life for Fleetfoot continued on as usual. Hunting, border patrols, and keeping an eye on Moletooth and Toadfoot took up most of his time for a moon. Then to his surprise and delight he was given his first apprentice, Daisykit. Timberstar hoped that Fleetfoot would not only teach her all their was to know about being a Breezeclan cat but also help the shy, unconfident kit reach her full potential. Fleetfoot loved being a mentor and passed down everything Stormstrike had taught him down to his apprentice. Lavishing her with knowledge and much needed praise when she completed a task. She soon became confident in herself and her abilities. Fleetfoot didn't think he could ever feel prouder then the day she recieved her warrior name. And with in days of Daisytail's warrior ceremony Fleetfoot found himself again with an apprentice, this time with a tom named Burnkit.

Moons went by and life in Breezeclan went on as usual. But one day when on a routine patrol with his apprentice a twoleg tossed a white, fowl smelling fire stick at the patrol. The cats weren't afraid but thought it best to finish the patrol away from the twolegs. But on their way back to camp they smelled the smoke and saw the flames, knowing at once what it ment, the patrol raced back to the camp and began grabbing kits and elders, helping evacuate the clan. With clanmates in toe Timberstar lead the terrified cats out of their territory and through rippleclan territory toward higher ground and hopefully away from the flames. When the fire's flames finally died down the clans had lost their home, a once florishing forest with meadows and rivers was now a blankit of ash. And many clanmates, like Fleetfoot's aunt, Tallthorn were gone forever. for the next week or so the clans did their best to survive on the edges of their old territories. But with fowl water and no prey the clans were desperate. After a clan council amoung the leaders, Breezeclan decided that it, along with Oakclan and Rippleclan would leave and find a new home.

The journey was harder than any cat, Fleetfoot included, thought it would be. Many cats fell ill and most kits born on the journey died.
But Fleetfoot stayed strong for his clan, not letting on how exhausted or depressed he really was. He even used the techniques his mentor Stormstrike had taught him moons before and caught fish for his clanmates, even though him doing so didn't settle well with the Rippleclan cats. Fleetfoot tried his best to help keep his clanmates keep going. But the spirits of his clanmates would soon fall even more. When traveling through a twoleg place, the clans current leader, Thunderstar, had gotten in a fight with a couple of strays. In his weakened state Thunderstar was killed. Leaving his deputy Quailcall to take his place.

[Duty to Ones Clan]
After the death of Thunderstar, heightened with anger and a need to show the strays whose boss, Quailcall lead a few of the healthier cats, including Fleetfoot, to track down the strays. Doing so wasn't too hard and as soon as they were in sight the patrol gave no warning of their intentions immediately setting upon the four cats. Fleetfoot hated admitting it to himself but he had enjoyed ripping into the flesh of the cats who killed his clans leader. Raking his claws along their pelts, hearing them squeal in agony. The agony he was sure his leader had felt right before he died. The patrol, after teaching the strays a painful lesson, headed back to the clans.

To Fleetfoot's shock as soon as they arrived back Quailcall, addressing herself as Quailstar despite not having yet visited Starclan, declared Fleetfoot her deputy. Fleetfoot felt shocked as his clanmates surrounded him, congradulating him and giving him their support. Even some of the other clan cats joined in. Fleetfoot was never ambitious and had never seeked a higher rank. He was quite content to be a warrior his whole life till he went to join the elders. Fleetfoot vowed he'd do his best to carry out his duties as deputy without fault and do all he could for his clan.

[Art of Leadership]
Fleetfoot was barely deputy for a moon when tragity snatched the clans newest leader. After an attack by some stray dogs the clans traveled on, resting in an empty barn on a stretch of grassy fields on a rainy night. In the barn Fleetfoot, Quailstar, and a handful of other warriors searched, to make sure it was safe to bring the weaker cats inside. With a flash of lightening luminating the barn it was obvious it was not. Rats were sitting up high in the rafters and hiding in the small bundlers of old hay. The cats, weary from traveling and ill tempered from the last few days ill events, did not want to have to search in the rain for another place to stay. As if on que the rats and cats fought one another. His speed a vital aspect in the fight, Fleetfoot was able to kill many rats and avoid most of their bites. But Quailstar wasn't so lucky. Helping one of the Oakclan cats, who had dissappeared under the wave of rats, Quailstar was bitten in the face. At the time the bite was of little concern. The cats had killed many of the rats and drove the others away. Securing a dry, warm place for the clans to sleep as well as food for the weaker cats. The next few days the clans stayed in the barn. The cats resting to regain their strength, only leaving the barn to hunt. But as the days dragged on it was clear Quailstar was not doing well. The rat bite on her face had gotten infected and her face was painfully swollen. With the medicine cats unable to find the needed herbs Quailstar succumed to the infection, having died in her sleep.

Through out Quailstar's vigil Fleetfoot rumaged through his thoughts. He was going to be the new leader of Breezeclan, his clan's fate was set squarely on his shoulders. From now on everything he did would be for his clan. From now on every decision he made could have a larger, negative impact for his clan. Fleetfoot hoped the clans found their new home soon. The sooner they found their new home, the sooner he could get the future of his clan on track. The next day Fleetfoot named Mossleaf as his deputy. For the rest of the journey, unlike Quailstar, Fleetfoot did not go by his leader name. He would not go by Fleetstar till he recieved his nine lives. After what felt like a life time the clans finally came across the area that would be their new home. A forest and mountains for Oakclan, stream, pond, and fields for Rippleclan, and sandy foothills and sagebrush for Breezeclan. Fleetfoot was immideatly irritated with the other clans. Each of their territories had sources of water and herbs. His clan's territory had little if any of these vital resources. Fleetfoort was well aware that in the old forest the other clans often seen Breezeclan as the weakest, and easily beaten. Fleetfoot was not going to have his clan be seen as that way again. Though he had distaste for his clan's new territory he knew in the long run the harsh environment would only strengthen his clan, more so than they had been back in the old forest. Fleetfoot had explored every inch of his clans new territory, and found the perfect place for the clans camp among the bushes and rocks surrounding a collapsed, abandoned twoeg mine. For here, up high on a foot hill the clan could see danger coming long before their camp was reached. His clan had finally found their new home. Days later Fleetfoot became Fleetstar! Having visited starclan in the hollow tree after the medicine cat was lead their hours before. Now with the blessing of Starclan, Fleetstar sets out to rebuild his clan.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My apologies for any misspelling, I was in bit of a rush.
This is my "main" warrior oc's for my group, :iconcatsofthevalley:
*****There is actually a lot of info about Fleetfoot I have left out, mostly because if it was all included it would be SOOOOO much to read, like a novel. But a biggie I left out above is that Fleetfoot from kithood was blessed(cursed?) with visions of the future. Which of course give him all sorts of problems as he grows up, including being harrast by the clans medicine cat who believes that because he sees visions, as only med cats are supposed to be able to do, his destiny is to be her apprentice. Which he stubbornly fights against. Some of his visions come true, don't, and some particular visions plague him over and over through out his life.
Once again :iconninjakato: 's feline tutorials were a HUGE help.
